I have experience in a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, trauma, relationships, sexual orientation, eating disorders, and childhood abuse.

Helping you to manage, and be able to function, is something that I can help any age group with, and young people in particular.

Having worked as the Head of Sussex University Counselling Service, I have extensive experience in working with the particular challenges that face young people. This can be an extremely difficult time for some people as a range of mental health issues can manifest, in addition to anxiety and depression. These can be confusing, alarming and overwhelming. Emotions can feel hard to manage and can feel very intense, sometimes leading to self-harm and suicidal thinking. There are ways in which these experiences can be supported so that different pathways can be opened up as a possibility.

I am an accredited member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy).

I am also a registered insurance provider with BUPA, Cigna and PruHealth insurance companies.

A session lasts for 50 minutes. My fees per session are £65 with some possibility of a sliding scale depending on circumstances. I do have some reduced cost spaces available at times.

I also offer supervision to practising counsellors on a fortnightly (50 minutes) . Please contact me to discuss your needs so we may establish a rate for this service.
